Mike and Iris moved to Salmon Arm in 1998 from Victoria where Mike worked with the Coast Guard. They had two children, one grandchild and two great-grand children. Iris loved to quilt and belonged to a quilting organization, she also volunteered with the Shuswap Health-Care Auxiliary and worked in the gift shop at the hospital. Iris spent some time in the Shuswap Lake General Hospital and Hillside Village where she received excellent care. Sadly Iris passed away in 2015 and to honor her memory Mike made a generous donation to the Shuswap Hospital Foundation. Mike said “I am extremely grateful for the wonderful care that Iris received here at the hospital and at Hillside Village.
